Hi, I’m Jason!

Time spent as an undercover critic, sampling some of Philadelphia’s best restaurants, shattered my previously held admiration for the Filet-o-Fish®. While working in guest services management at the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, this epiphany was further cemented by my frequent sampling of the Bay Area’s finest food and drink— as well as routine research expeditions to California’s best wineries.

Although “Two-Buck Chuck” was eventually forced out of my wine fridge, I gained irreplaceable knowledge of the hospitality and restaurant industry. This knowledge, coupled with my experience at a multinational import/export firm, led to my interest in the wine import world.

Visits to more than 60 countries, and over a decade of work building relationships with foreign partners on behalf of the U.S. government, provided me with even more first-hand access to the amazing people, cuisines, and cultures that exist throughout the world. I am proud to be a fluent speaker of both Spanish and Portuguese.

Based on these fortunate experiences, it is easy to understand why I joined like-minded friends to find great wine, produced by cool people, and bring it back to the U.S. My mission is to deliver this wine to folks who enjoy the road less traveled and truly appreciate wine from artisanal producers that typically require a passport and a plane ticket to experience.
